H.E. Ljerka Alajbeg is Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Bulgaria.
Ljerka Alajbeg graduated from the University of Zagreb Law School in Law and International Trade Law (Unification of International Trade Law – thesis), with Professional Specialization in World Trade Institute in New York and at Georgetown University/International Law Institute in Washington D.C. USA.
She is Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Bulgaria since 2013.

She was lecturer of international law (Diplomatic Academy, Police Academy, Military School); and member/Croatian representative/ of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Hague.

– 1982 Citation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the promotion of culture, scientific, and economic ties between the sister cities of Zagreb and Pittsburgh
– 1996 Ordained by the President of the Republic of Croatia for service on behalf of Croatia
– 1998 Signum Laudis, Law School of Zagreb for significant contribution in the Rule of Law Project
