Yana Petkova

Yana Petkova graduated from Austrian Wine Academy, subsidiary of the British Wine and Spirit Education Trust: one of the most prestigious educational bodies in the field of wine marketing. For the time being she is the only holder of WSET Diploma for Bulgaria and strongly hopes this fact changes soon.

For her wine is a civilizational choice and for more than fifteen years she has been working on building a wine culture and creating an adequate image of wine in the societal culture in Bulgaria. Important aspect of her work is the education: education of Bulgarian wine which will secure its place on the world wine map and education of the public in order first to love and then to appreciate wine.
