Antoaneta Balabanova

Born in 18 february 1962, Antoaneta Balabanova is an experienced fashion designer gifted for creating artistic wear. Graduated from the Arts School in Sofia with a Masters of Art degree specializing in fashion and textiles, she was employed as a designer for “Rila Style”, and has since carved an illustrious career in fashion design combining different materials and layering them in her own unique style.
She has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and also won prizes in the Arts Salon Festival in the National palace of Culture in the experimental Fashion Section. Furthermore, she is a nominee for the Gold Needle Prize of the Fashion Academy and owned and managed two art galleries for over a decade.
Now she embarks on a new chapter in her career and takes part in the global design room of Galina Couture.
