Fashion Design
Students from undergraduate and graduate majors at the Fashion Design Department at the National Academy of Arts will present parts of their collections and experiments designed and created by them during their academic education.
The collection includes models which reflect their stance for protecting the world cultural heritage, inspired by old techniques, structures, the natural dyeing of fabrics and ornamentation.
You will be able to witness the results from their experimental search of shapes and their application in the structure of clothing.
Trough the models, viewers will be able to trace sources of inspiration from the history of the costume and references to contemporary painters.
The collection represents the result of the major’s 20 year long history and its strategy for developing young designers with contemporary thinking and responsible attitude towards society.
